1919 Italian Bar & Restaurant (sister restaurant of the award-winning Vesper cocktail bar) proudly unveils ‘Experimental Kitchen Pop-up Series’ where every Thursdays we invite our chef friends to explore new combinations of flavour that they haven’t done before, but most importantly, to let our kitchen be their playground!
The very first in the series is none other than Chef Andrew Martin, Canadian-born chef with strong passion for Thai cuisine. Well known for his adventurous take on local ingredients, Andrew is no stranger to Bangkok’s culinary scene. His experience include stints at award-winning Thai restaurants Nahm, Bo.Lan and 80/20, which later took him to become the head chef of Issaya Siamese Club and most recently Jaew Jim Thompson.
Chef Andrew will be joining hands with our Italian chef-partner Francesco Deiana in experimenting new dishes exclusively for this pop-up. The menu is based on exciting Asian flavours with a surprise touch of European influence.
A la carte menu 29 October & 5, 12 & 19 November 5pm – 10:30pm (last order at 10pm)
